Oh Tier 3 Shoulder graphics how I missed you. The highlight was always the “mist” that seemed to flow off the already henti-esque shoulders. What is it you ask? I don’t know, but I have my own ideas…

Sorry this is kind of rough folks. We didn’t want to miss a week though it come very close. This have been quite a busy week (plus catching all the inauguration coverage today!) but we hope to be back on track next week. As such I’m taking this moment to express that I find female Gnomes hilarious and adorable but male Gnomes… while hilarious, kind of terrifying.

Happy New Years 2009 - Originally posted December 31st, 2008
Every holiday comes with their own share of risks. Thanksgiving can mean fighting with family you haven’t seen in ages. Valentines could bring rejection of someone you have a crush on.
This day however, brings its own special kinds of risks
Happy New Years everyone. Go out, and have fun, and be safe. And just remember, sometimes the party takes you places that you didn’t really plan on going (as viewed above…).

As with many other things in life, we’re learning this as we go along.
Trying to convert WoW characters to a comic strip format is proving to be a bit more difficult then I initially realized. The great thing about WoW is that a lot of characters, settings, weapons, and armor sets look fantastic and have very distinct looks, a testament to the talented art staff at Blizzard.
As this isn’t concept art or an in-game model I’m trying to limit the detail I’m putting on the characters and focus on their expressions and postures. Div has intricate armor which is quite imposing. While I don’t want to remove the fact that he can be a very capable Warlock, if he isn’t scaled back then some of the jokes we have planned won’t work. It would end up more malicious then humorous.
Gnomes may take me a while but I’m hoping to reach a consistent look for them. The difficulty is trying to proportion them correctly where they’re not just smaller human adults or kids in armor.
